Join us for a hands-on and informative AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) training designed specifically for educators! In this session, we will dive into the concept of Core Vocabulary—a set of 350 high-frequency words that account for approximately 80% of everyday communication. Understanding and utilizing Core Vocabulary can significantly benefit not only students who use AAC devices but also those with language delays and disorders.

I am so grateful that the ESU had so many specialists to work with my son, because now I know what to do to help my child with autism. The speech pathologist and occupational therapist from the ESU have allowed him to gain more than I ever expected him to. I don’t know what I would have done without them.
