Educational Service Unit 5 is seeking to build our pool of Substitute Teachers for the ESU5 Academy, a Transition/Lifeskills Program for students ages 18-21 located on the Southeast Community College, Beatrice campus.
Responsibilities include working with students with cognitive disabilities ages 18-21. At the Transition Academy students learn functional academics, communication, social, daily living and job skills. The teacher will help students practice these skills in the classroom and at job sites at Southeast Community College.
Eligible candidates must be eligible to hold a Nebraska Substitute Teaching Certificate. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor's degree.
