Shana joined the ESU 5 team in the summer of 2024.  She was in the early elementary classroom for 12 years with Lincoln and Beatrice Public Schools.  Shana is an Early Development Network Services Coordinator who helps families of children with special needs from birth to age 3. Shana's duties include finding services to meet developmental, educational, financial, healthcare, respite care, and other needs. Shana connects families with needed services and works with multiple providers to ensure services are provided to the children and families. She works with families to help them become able to coordinate their own services in the future. Shana feels strongly about growing the community and looks forward to making connections with families and neighboring school districts.

Shana lives on the family farm with her husband Rodney and two young children Stella and Randall.  She is involved in her church's children's and young adult ministries, working in the yard, running on country roads, and listening to audio books.  Shana is from Louisiana and spends holidays traveling south to visit her large family.
