Jennifer Behrends has been a member of the ESU staff since September of 1998.  Jennifer is an Early Development Network Services Coordinator who helps families of children with special needs from birth to age 3.  Her duties include finding services to meet developmental, educational, financial, healthcare, respite care, and other needs. Jennifer links families with needed services and works with multiple providers to ensure services are provided to the children and families.  She works with families to help them become able to coordinate their own services in the future. Jennifer is particularly interested in empowering parents to be the best advocate they can be for their children.

When not working, Jennifer enjoys reading, decorating homes, spending time with family and friends, and watching Hallmark movies.
