ESU 5 Educators attended the Nebraska International Languages Association (NILA) this past October to learn and share. The NILA Conference is a one day event that takes place on a Saturday. At the end of the day participants evaluate the conference sessions. I'm happy to share: ESU 5 sessions were selected for Both of the NILA session awards.
Nick Ziegler's session, Distance Learning: Addressing the Teacher Shortage, was selected to represent NILA at the upcoming NETA (Nebraska Educational Technology Association) conference.
Christina Schroeder and Kelly Garcia teamed up to share: Modes Made Simple and Strategic. Their session was selected as "The Best of Nebraska" and will represent NILA at next year's regional Central States Conference in Minnesota.
Thank you to all our ESU 5 Educators for their passionate dedication to students and best practices in the world language classroom!
