Connecting Educators Conference

The Connecting Educators Conference took place again this year on October 27th, 2023 at Fairbury High School.

The day featured keynotes on “Cultivating the Culture: Our Work… Our Why… Our Values” by Joy Kelly from JCasas & Associates as well as almost 40 breakout sessions to choose from. Six ESU 5 districts brought their entire staff to this event for a collaborative day of professional development.

Next year’s conference will be held on November 1st, 2024.

We are excited to announce that Mark Perna will be the keynote speaker. His message will be “Unleashing the Passion, Purpose and Performance in Younger Generations.”

We are looking forward to this next year!

I am so grateful that the ESU had so many specialists to work with my son, because now I know what to do to help my child with autism. The speech pathologist and occupational therapist from the ESU have allowed him to gain more than I ever expected him to. I don’t know what I would have done without them.
